Hey, I’m Zoe.
I’m a Freelance Creative Producer.
I partner with production companies to develop, shoot and shape stories that resonate with audiences whilst reflecting the pace and complexities of our world.
What’s more, I embrace and integrate AI to streamline pitch decks, boost creative ideation, and make daily workflows much more efficient. I even have an AI personal assistant. He’s called Robert.
But above all, I’m a cinema lover, and I bring a little movie-magic to each project I work on.
My Approach
Collaborative
It doesn’t matter whose idea leads the way, there’s room for everyone and every voice in the development room, not to mention the importance of having different perspectives to tell stories. I’m all ears.
Efficient
As a freelancer, I have learned how valuable time is. It’s a free commodity in some aspects but the most valuable one of all in others.
Over the last year, I’ve harnessed AI as much as possible, consulting with AI business developers to transform how I operate as a freelancer and the services I provide to clients.
Technical
With a background in camera crew and an appreciation of cinema from a very young age, production value is incredibly important to me, and that value is relative to each project.
A valuable lesson I’ve learned is that a strong technical understanding between crew is the greatest foundation for achieving it, less so monstrous budgets.
Women In Ukraine.
An exposé film as part of a UK Government above-the-line campaign:
“Sexual violence is not merely the action of rogue soldiers, but a deliberate tactic of warfare” (UN Women). As war rages on in Ukraine, sexual violence is being perpetuated as a weapon of war by Russian soldiers. These are some of the stories from survivors.
In production
Recent Work.
The Impact Series.
Mini-Documentary Series.
From story development to location filming on the remote Pacific Island of Palau, The Impact Series sheds light on the communities most impacted by climate change vs those making an impact, at scale.
A Memory Owed.
A WWII Drama starring James Bolam:
Bound by unspoken grief, reclusive 91-year-old Stan and his young carer find unexpected solace on the windswept plains of a once-bustling WWII airfield, where memory still lingers.
